Media production specialist

Join us as a Media Production Specialist and be at the forefront of crafting engaging learning content in our state-of-the-art studio.  As a Media Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting us in producing in-person video content such as tutorials and podcasts. You will be creating high-quality educational content for a globally recognized data science and AI training company with a community of ~1 million, including 100K+ subscribers on YouTube.

• Creation of storyboards and scripts ahead of the recording session. 
• Setting up studio and recording equipment like professional-grade cameras, lighting, microphones, and tripods in single- and multi-camera settings
• Conduct a dry run, direct, and record the sessions, and proactively troubleshoot any technical issues. 
• Editing the videos, including the insertion of additional graphics, special effects, and adjustment of noise level. 
• Manage the entire production lifecycle and meet deadlines for final deliverables. 

 

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Journalism or a related field. 
• Experience in media production focusing on educational content.  
• Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools for media production such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Anchor, Zencastr, Descript etc. 
• Proficiency in handling studio equipment  
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail 
• Obsession with the highest quality of sound, lighting, and video. 
• Ability to take full ownership and initiative in all stages of the production lifecycle. 
• Experience with Ziflow or related video review tools. 
• Experience with advanced filming techniques, such as multi-camera setups, sound mixers, and green screen technology. 
• Problem-solving mindset
