Data Science Dojo believes in making data science available for everyone. To support our goal and fulfill our purpose we have initiated community events in which we invite thought leaders, authors, & influencers in the field of data science to talk about emerging trends, and valuable skills, and share advice to excel in the data industry.

Is it a paid opportunity?

We host these webinars to educate our community — it's our way of giving back. Due to this, we are unable to compensate speakers monetarily. But we provide them a platform to reach a large audience of data science enthusiasts from around the globe. What webinar logistics should you know about?

Typically, we host the events on Wednesdays at noon Pacific. We are flexible and can accommodate a time that works best with your schedule if needed. We block off 1 hour for the webinar — presentations should be around 30–45 minutes and we save 15 minutes (max) for questions. Speakers are required to send us: Title of Presentation · Short Summary · Speaker Bio · Presenter Headshot(s). We decide on a date 4–6 weeks ahead for marketing purposes.

How do we conduct community events?

We conduct webinars on Zoom with live streaming on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. We record these webinars and make them available to anyone from our website or YouTube.

Please fill out the form at the top of this page and our team will contact you for an initial meeting. If your profile matches our criteria, our team will send you the request for marketing material. Once received, we will decide on a date for the event with you.
